Synopsis

I almost DNF'd this at 20% because I wasn't sure where it was going, but once everything started unraveling, I was hooked. The characters are messy and make terrible decisions, which somehow made them feel more believable. I knocked off a star because a couple of plot points wrapped up a little too conveniently.

The drama was exactly what I signed up for. I liked that nobody in this book was completely innocent, and I kept changing my mind about who I was rooting for. A few scenes felt repetitive, but overall it was one of those books where you read "one more chapter" and suddenly it's 2 a.m.
